Romy Reiner and Jake Reiner Spotted in First Photos Together Since Parents’ Murders

Romy Reiner and Jake Reiner were photographed together for the first time since the tragic deaths of their parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.

Romy, 28, and Jake, 34, were seen on a barefoot walk along the beach in Malibu, California, in photographs obtained by Page Six.

Romy — who celebrated her birthday on December 27 — wore a black sweater, loose-fitting jeans and a dark blue Lacoste ballcap. She also carried a dog leash as her pup strolled ahead.

Jake wore a Los Angeles Dodgers championship hat, drawstring shorts and a grey t-shirt.

The Reiners have reportedly been staying at a beach house with their maternal aunts, Suzanne Singer and Martine Weinstock, and Romy’s boyfriend, Alex Silberberg, according to the Daily Mail.

The youngest Reiner sibling found her parents deceased in their Brentwood, California, home on December 14. They had been stabbed to death in their primary bedroom.

Romy and Jake’s brother, Nick Reiner, was arrested later that night and booked the following morning. He was denied bail and charged with two counts of first-degree murder of his parents.

According to the BBC, Nick’s attorney Alan Jackson told reporters on December 17, “We ask that during this process, you allow the system to move forward in the way that it was designed to move forward. Not with a rush to judgement, not with jumping to conclusions, but with restraint and with dignity, and with the respect that this system and this process deserves, and that the family deserves.”

Jackson declined to enter a plea for his client during their first court appearance. Nick, 32, is due back in court on January 7.
