Melania Trump’s upcoming self-titled film is gearing up for a splashy debut.
The first lady, 55, and her husband, President Donald Trump, will attend the January 29 premiere of MELANIA at the Kennedy Center — just more than a month after the 79-year-old politician had his name added to the historic building — Fox News Digital reported on Thursday, January 8.
According to the news outlet, the Washington, D.C., premiere will coincide with 20 other events celebrating the release of the former model’s film ahead of its January 30 theatrical release.
“History is set in motion during the 20 days of my life prior to the U.S. Presidential Inauguration,” Melania told Fox News.
“For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold — a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming first lady of the United States of America,” she added.

The movie, which is 104 minutes long, is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and was directed by Brett Ratner. Melania also served as a producer.
In the film’s trailer, Melania is seen at her husband’s swearing-in ceremony, where she looks at the camera and says, “Here we go again.”
The family of late President John F. Kennedy may not be too thrilled with the news of the premiere, given that many of them condemned the Trump-appointed board’s decision to rename the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to “Trump-Kennedy Center.”

JFK’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg — who has openly opposed any changes to the building — claimed via X, “Microphones were muted and the board meeting and vote NOT unanimous.”
The 32-year-old, who is running for Congress, added, “Trump explicitly motivated to act by JACK FOR NEW YORK. Our campaign represents everything Trump can’t stand or defeat.”
“President Trump and his administration have spent the past year repressing free expression, targeting artists, journalists, and comedians, and erasing the history of Americans whose contributions made our nation better and more just,” Kerry Kennedy — the daughter of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and sister of Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr. — wrote in a statement shared via X.

“President Kennedy proudly stood for justice, peace, equality, dignity, diversity, and compassion for those who suffer,” she added. “President Trump stands in opposition to these values, and his name should not be placed alongside President Kennedy’s.”
For his part, RFK Jr. seemed relatively unfazed by the change, but sidestepped the question about how he felt.
