President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, don’t spend much time together, but they apparently connect over a shared interest.
In a People article published on Wednesday, January 7, a source told the outlet that beyond the couple’s joint public appearances, “There is little interaction between them, just what is expected,” noting afterward, “they go back to doing their own thing.”

However, the source revealed the Commander-in-Chief, 79, and the First Lady, 55 — who wed in 2005 and share son Barron Trump, 19 — both have a passion for interior design.
“Donald has his own vision for his homes and clubs, and over the years has designed and selected a lot of the furnishings and finishings himself at Mar-a-Lago and the golf clubs,” the source explained. “He and Melania have that in common. They both love interior design.”

White House spokesman Davis Ingle responded to People’s reporting, telling the publication: “President Trump and the entire administration work 24/7 for the American people to deliver on the promise to Make America Great Again. The Trump Family is the most successful family of all time.”
The billionaire has seemingly put his interest in interior design into action, as he’s demolished the White House’s East Wing and is now building a multi-million-dollar, 90,000-square-foot ballroom.
