Angelina Jolie’s Over-the-Top Spending on Her Kids Sparks Questions of ‘Lasting Consequences’ (Exclusive)

Just because Angelina Jolie’s kids are getting older doesn’t mean the spoiling has stopped, a source tells the National Enquirer.

“They get exactly what they want, when they want, without exception,” dishes the source. “From lavish shopping trips to luxury vacations, her children are treated like royalty.”

The Eternals actress, 50, has largely cared for Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17, on her own since splitting from Brad Pitt in 2016.

“Angie wasn’t indulged as much as they are when she was a child,” shares the source, noting the mom of six didn’t have a close relationship with actor dad Jon Voight for much of her upbringing following his split from Jolie’s mother, the late actress Marcheline Bertrand. “Brad wasn’t raised to be pampered either.”

In a 2025 New York Times article, Jolie even revealed that the New York City apartment she’s owned for decades is now occupied by one of her sons — and the Maria star is relegated to a hotel room during trips to the Big Apple.

“Making sure her kids never go without can have lasting consequences, especially when they’re just in the process of establishing themselves and their own identities,” warns the source. “What’s next? Buying each of them their own mansions?”

As Enquirer previously reported, Jolie’s drawn-out divorce battle with the Bullet Train actor, 62, has cost her “a fortune,” but she’s still believed to have an estimated net worth of $120 million.

“Brad would never be comfortable with how much money she spends on the children,” insists the source. “Angie is the one calling the shots, though!”
