Taylor Swift may have to take the stand as part of Blake Lively’s battle against It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni, according to a report by TMZ.
If the Gossip Girl alum’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni goes to trial — which it is currently scheduled to do beginning in May — the pop star, 36, will be considered a “hostile witness” because she “clearly had a bias against Baldoni,” the outlet reported on Wednesday, January 21.

However another source told TMZ that it “would be next to impossible to serve Taylor with a summons,” so her text messages may have to speak for themselves.
Alleged text messages between the “So High School” singer and the A Simple Favor star, 38, were released on Tuesday, January 20, in court documents obtained by the National Enquirer.
“I felt like a bad friend lately because I was such a sad sack who only talked about my own s**t for months,” Lively wrote Swift in December 2024, days before her allegations against Baldoni were published in The New York Times. “You were generous to not only be the key person there for me during all of it, but also to let me off the hook for being so in it.”

Swift seemingly responded, “I know you feel attacked from all sides for ridiculous reasons so you’re feeling like you have to overly explain things or be overly nice or whatever but It’s me!”
