O.J. Simpson’s outspoken and gregarious former manager Norman Pardo suddenly passed away on July 31 at the age of 63 years old after a four-year battle with a heart condition, his wife exclusively confirms to the National Enquirer.
“He loved life, he loved nature, and he loved just talking with people about his adventures — and now he can’t do it anymore,” Pardo’s wife of 35-years, Jill Mitchell, 63, tells the Enquirer.
“He lived a hell of a life — he had a hell of a run,” she adds.
Pardo, a frequent source for the Enquirer, famously tried to resuscitate Simpson’s career after he was found not guilty in the 1995 murder of his estranged wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.
Pardo spent about a decade working with the disgraced running back on a cross-country speaking tour, which generated about 70 hours of video footage of Simpson greeting fans, trash talking with pals, partying in nightclubs and interacting with celebs.

In April, Pardo announced plans to auction off the uncut videos, which were described in a press release as Simpson’s “uncensored” and “absolutely out of control” secret tapes.
“O.J. Simpson tells it like it is … from his life before and after the sensational murder trial; to intimate chats he had with friends and foes like the Kardashian clan!” a press release for the auction states. “A furious Kris [Jenner] is seen blasting Pardo regarding a conversation he had with Simpson for an entire episode of the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
Pardo also published the 2021 book, Who Really Killed Nicole?, where he claimed the football great — who died of prostate cancer in April 2024 at age 76 — and his now dead lawyer Robert Kardashian hatched a scheme to hire serial killer Glen Edward Rogers to scare off Nicole’s drug dealer in an attempt to halt her five-figure drug debt.

However, according to Pardo, the scheme went off the rails when the unhinged Rogers, a drifter who worked odd jobs in the Los Angeles area, began attacking Nicole and Goldman outside her home. Rogers, 62, was executed inside a Florida state prison in May for the unrelated murder of another mother of two.
According to his wife, Pardo was gearing up to promote the auction when he suffered a heart attack outside his Pasco County, Florida home.
“When I went outside, he was already dead,” Mitchell tells the Enquirer. “He had turned blue, and I couldn’t even defibrillate him. It was terrible. After 35 years — he loved me so much.”
“Everything he did, he did for me and I bask in that love, and I will never forget him. It’s going to be hard, but I am very fortunate that I even had a 35-year love affair with a man that I actually loved and liked,” she says sadly, before adding: “Most people don’t get that, so I’m lucky.”
