Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide on August 10, 2019, at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York while awaiting trial on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.
On the sixth anniversary of his death, the National Enquirer visited his final resting place and exclusively took photos of his gravesite. The convicted sex offender’s ashes were laid in an unmarked grave beside his parents, Seymour and Paula Epstein, at a Jewish cemetery in Palm Beach County in Florida.

As the Enquirer previously reported, the circumstances behind Epstein’s death have been widely disputed over the past six years. Many have theorized that his death was not a suicide, but a murder, to keep him from implicating other colleagues in his high-profile trial.
One of his known associates, Ghislaine Maxwell – who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking related charges – was ordered by the House Oversight Committee to sit for deposition earlier this year. The hearing was pushed back to September 29 after the Supreme Court reviews her current conviction appeal.
However, according to her legal team, she may spill all she knows about Epstein in exchange for immunity.
“If Ms. Maxwell were to receive clemency, she would be willing — and eager — to testify openly and honestly, in public, before Congress in Washington, D.C.,” a letter from her legal team and obtained by MSNBC read. “She welcomes the opportunity to share the truth and to dispel the many misconceptions and misstatements that have plagued this case from the beginning.”
