Bill and Hillary Clinton have officially been subpoenaed by House Oversight Chair James Comer in connection with the ongoing investigation into late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Along with the former POTUS, 78, and the former Secretary of State, 77, ex Attorney Generals including Merrick Garland, Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr, Eric Holder, Alberto Gonzales and Loretta Lynch, and former FBI Directors Robert Mueller and James Comey were also asked to “appear for depositions.”
The Clintons’ court date is scheduled for October, according to Mediaite.

Earlier this year, Comer, 52, also called for Epstein associate and convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell, 63, to be deposed this month. However, her testimony was postponed until after September 29, when the Supreme Court is set to review her conviction appeal.
This comes amid rumors that the disgraced former socialite could be granted a pardon by President Donald Trump in exchange for information about Epstein and his other associates – something that has caused significant bipartisan pushback, including criticism from Epstein accuser Haley Robson.
“I’m extremely upset, I’m angry, I’m disgusted,” she told BBC in an interview published on Monday, August 4.
“To be denied your innocence, denied your justice and then to have your healing taken away from you without any consent, it really feels like a part of me is dying inside,” she explained at the time. “Why would anyone give someone like her [Maxwell] – who is a monster and a liar – a time of day to explain anything?”

The idea also sparked pushback from some GOP lawmakers.
One Republican senator, who chose to remain anonymous said, “It’s ridiculous that he would consider shortening a sentence for somebody who aided and abetted sexual trafficking as she did … She’s trafficking underage children. I can’t imagine anything she could say could nullify her heinous crimes,” per The Hill.
Republican Senator Thom Tillis also suggested her testimony wouldn’t be “worth the paper it’s written on,” because she was a “liar,” according to the outlet.
This comes after Ghislaine’s brother Ian Maxwellpenned an exclusive op-ed for the National Enquirer, accusing the U.S. Department of Justice of a cover-up.
“The fix was in when — following Ghislaine’s arrest — the DOJ held a press conference, which branded her guilty before she had taken one step into any courtroom,” he claimed.
“The list of fixes goes on and on: The trial judge offered immunity to a juror for an explanation as to why he had lied on his jury selection form,” he wrote in the op-ed. “In newly discovered evidence, we now know that the juror perjured himself before the judge [having denied purposely lying on the juror questionnaire] and other jurors lied, too. These are all examples of new evidence that proves that Ghislaine did not receive a fair trial.”
