Elisabeth Hasselbeck is speaking out about a new hot topic.
On Thursday, February 27, the former The View host, 48, took to her Instagram Story, sharing an Inside Edition video of host Eva Pilgrim reporting on hazing at college fraternities, per Entertainment Weekly.
The mother of three — who shares daughter Grace, 20, and sons Taylor, 18, and Thomas, 16, with husband TimHasselbeck — shared some commentary on top of the video, expressing her condemnation of how the activity has become normalized.
“Y’all. Why are we okay with hazing as a society?” the Survivor alum wrote. “Why are we torturing our youth? To belong? For friends?”

“Stop the madness. Now,” Hasselbeck further insisted. “We are to raise leaders not terrorists.”
Hasselbeck’s opinions will be heard by a larger audience again soon, as the National Enquirer previously reported the TV personality has been named as one of the guest hosts on The View, filling in for Alyssa FarahGriffin while she is on maternity leave.
While Hasselbeck is supposed to be a temporary fill-in — joining hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, and Ana Navarro at the table — a source told the Enquirer last week, “this is being treated very clearly as a test.”

“There’s a sense the show has tipped from spirited debate into something more corrosive,” an insider revealed. “That’s wearing on staff, guests and viewers.”
“This booking wasn’t accidental,” another source shared, noting Hasslebecks’ “combatitive” history with Behar.
Back in January 2025, Hasselbeck called out Behar, 83, on social media for criticizing Carrie Underwood‘s decision to perform at President Donald Trump‘s inauguration.
