With The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin on maternity leave after welcoming a baby boy, insiders say honchos are discussing the chatfest’s future — and considering ex-panelist Elisabeth Hasselbeck or former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as its future conservative voice.
A source says, “Executives are always thinking ahead. They see sparks, headlines, attention — and that’s gold in daytime.”
Hasselbeck, a former cohost, is seen as the polished, faith-forward option who could “restore balance without blowing up the table,” according to one insider.

But another insider calls Greene “instant virality,” pointing out that “love her or hate her, she guarantees noise.”
Still, a separate source close to production is adamant that the drama may be premature, insisting, “No one is being replaced. There are no plans to add another permanent host. The table is full.”
