Convicted murder Chris Watt is currently serving five life sentences for the murders of his pregnant wife, Shanann Watt, and their two daughters.
At the time of the killings, Watt was having an affair with his coworker, Nichol Kessinger, whom he was having sex with “three to four times a day,” according to his prison pen pal, Cherlyn Cadle.
Cadle opened up about their long-distance friendship in an interview with the Daily Mail, claiming their relationship began as “motherly,” but Watt eventually began disclosing “things you wouldn’t tell your mother.”

“He told me dark, sexual things that he did with his mistress,” Cadle claimed in an interview published on Monday, March 9. “A lot of it is stuff I just won’t repeat. But his relationship with [Kessinger] was very sexual, very twisted, very mixed up. And that’s part of why I believe he did what he did.”
Watt is currently behind bars at Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun, Wisconsin, after he was found guilty of strangling his pregnant wife and suffocating their daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, in 2018.
“If I had not met Nikki, I would never have killed my family,” he allegedly told Cadle in one letter, per the Daily Mail. “All I could feel was now I was free to be with Nikki. Feelings of my love for her was overcoming me. I felt no remorse.”
