Flight delays may ruin summer plans, but Cayman Jack wants to make them a little sweeter — and saltier.
The margarita brand opened a pop-up “Missed Flight Lounge” dubbed The Cayman Club at the TWA Hotel at New Yorks John F. Kennedy Airport last week, giving hundreds stranded travelers a place to swap frustration for frozen cocktails, and travelers across the country can score similar deals online through August.
Anyone age 21 and over with proof of a canceled, delayed or missed flight can visit The Cayman Club online hub missedflightlounge.com through Sept. 1 and share their travel troubles for a chance to claim a free Cayman Jack Margarita. They’ll also have a chance to win travel-themed prizes like gift cards and spa experiences, meant to put travelers back in “vacation mode.”
“You know how the things you don’t plan end up becoming some of your best memories? That’s the idea behind The Cayman Club. It takes annoying travel hiccups and turns them into excuses to slow down, take a breath, and get into that margarita state of mind – even at the country’s busiest airport,” said Kevin Brady, Vice President of Marketing at Cayman Jack. “So, wherever you’re headed – no matter what it takes to get there – Cayman Jack Margaritas are part of the experiences you’ll never forget.”
Cayman Jack, billed as Americas top-selling margarita brand, hopes the lounge and rewards program can transform moments of travel chaos into something worth toasting.
