Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele’s daughter found her parents with their throats slit on Sunday, December 14, TMZ reported.
The pair died following a possible argument in their home in the tony Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, the outlet added.
Police responded around 3:30 p.m. People reported that the pair were found by their 28-year-old daughter, Romy, who lives across the street, per ABC News.
Sources told TMZ that their daughter told police that another family member “should be a suspect” and is “dangerous.”
People reported that their son Nick, 32, was being questioned in connection with the crime, though police said on Sunday night that no one was in custody.
