Trevor Noah’s ‘Colossal Ego’ Hurting His Hollywood Standing (Exclusive)

Trevor Noah has been losing fans in Hollywood, a source tells the National Enquirer — and his so-called “colossal ego” is allegedly to blame.

“When he’s hosting, Trevor is all about himself and about getting in his jokes and zingers,” claims the source. “He isn’t thinking about anybody else, and it shows!”

The 42-year-old made headlines when he emceed the Grammy Awards for a sixth and final time on Sunday, February 1 — but not for the right reasons.

While The Hollywood Reporter slammed his performance as a “dud,” President Donald Trump threatened to sue the “poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C.” in a Truth Social post over a wisecrack tying him to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“Trevor’s final Grammys hosting appearance was considered stale,” adds the source. “Everybody was saying after the show that he just stayed at the party too long.”

After stepping away from The Daily Show in 2022, Emmy winner Noah started a podcast called What Now?, toured as a standup comedian and wrote a second book, Into the Uncut Grass.

His first tome, the memoir Born a Crime, was supposed to get a film adaptation starring Lupita Nyong’o, Deadline reported in 2018 — however, there have been no updates since then.

“Interest has seriously cooled,” dishes the source. “The movie is becoming one of those projects that’s just way past its expiration date, no matter how much Trevor and his managers have pushed over the years to get it made. At this rate, if he ever wants that story up on the big screen, Trevor is going to have to finance it himself!”
