Suspect Sought In Attempted Arson At Tesla Of New Orleans Building
Fire officials in New Orleans are seeking the public’s help identifying a person captured on surveillance video trying to start a fire at the Tesla of New Orleans building.
The New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) is investigating an attempted arson that took place at around 2:54 a.m. on April 14 at the Tesla of New Orleans building at 2801 Tchoupitoulas Street.
Surveillance video released by the fire department shows what appears to be a man wearing dark-colored pants and a dark-colored t-shirt with light lettering on the front walking past the building while carrying something in his hand. Another clip shows the individual throwing what appears to be a Molotov cocktail or other incendiary device toward the building, which bursts into a large ball of flames.
