Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Placed in Solitary Confinement After Prison Fight With Another Inmate

Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently serving time at Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey (FCI Fort Dix), was reportedly involved in a prison fight.

According to a Friday, July 24, TMZ report, the disgraced music mogul, 56, landed himself in solitary confinement after allegedly getting into an argument with another inmate that turned physical — with the two pushing and punching each other, sources said.

While TMZ reported that the Bad Boy Records founder “held his own” during the alleged scuffle, a rep for FCI Fort Dix told the outlet: “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody. Such information would not be available for the public domain.”

The Federal Bureau of Prisons added that it doesn’t comment on “disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.”

After prison staff reportedly separated the men, the rapper was said to be put in solitary confinement.

Page Six previously reported that Combs’ prison release date was pushed up from June 4, 2028, to April 25, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, seemingly after he was accepted into a drug-abuse rehabilitation program. The Los Angeles Times reported in June that the release date was pushed up again to February 23, 2028.

It is unclear if Combs is still in solitary confinement and if he will face other consequences, like the status of his release, after the alleged altercation.

During his trial, Combs pleaded not guilty to the sex-related felonies and was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He was sentenced to 50 months (or more than four years) in prison after he was found guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.

It’s been reported that Combs lives in a dorm-room style dwelling with nine other men and that he works in the chapel library.

President Donald Trump told the New York Times in an interview published earlier this year that Combs wrote him a letter seeking a pardon, but the 80-year-old president said he would not consider granting it.
