Sean “Diddy” Combs seemingly likes his money in cash.
According to a new Page Six report published Tuesday, February 10, the music mogul, 56, made an appearance at M2 nightclub in Miami in May 2023, and had the establishment pay him his $100,000 fee in cash. The rapper had the money go to a company called “Janice Combs Music Holdings Inc,” named after his mother.
The Bad Boy Records founder’s appearance was for a “kickoff party” on May 4 as part of Race Week, according to the outlet, as the Miami Grand Prix, an F1 motor race, was held the weekend of May 5 to 7 of that year.

About six months later, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sued him for sexual misconduct, and two more women did the same later that month, according to PBS. Then, in March 2024, the FBI raided the three-time Grammy Award winner’s homes in both Miami Beach, Florida, and Los Angeles before he was arrested in September 2024.
As the National Enquirer previously reported, Combs was convicted of two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution in July 2025. He was sentenced to a four-year prison term in October and is currently serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

In October, a source told the Enquirer that Combs “really believed he’d get out with time served,” and is “terrified of coming out of jail totally broke.”
“Any good advisor is going to be telling him he needs to scale things way back once he’s out,” another source shared in July. “If he fails to listen and keeps his spending where it was at pre-trial, it could lead to disaster.”
