President Trump Reveals He Will Not Pardon Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Despite Pair Once Being ‘Friendly’

Sean “Diddy” Combs will receive no help from President Donald Trump.

The disgraced music mogul, 56 — who is currently serving time at Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey (FCI Fort Dix) — will not be pardoned by the 79-year-old president.

The Apprentice alum told the New York Times in an interview published Thursday, January 8, that Combs wrote him a letter seeking a pardon, but he said he will not consider granting it.

When the Times asked the president when the letter was sent, Trump said, “Oh, would you like to see that letter?”

However, he did not show the publication — and when the White House was contacted about the document, they referred back to Trump’s remarks.

The pair once knew each other, with Trump telling Newsmax last year (per NYT), “I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great, and seemed like a nice guy.”

However, he added, “But when I ran for office, he was very hostile.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, the music mogul was transferred to the low-security facility from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, on October 30 — and he’s now anticipated to remain behind bars until June 4, 2028.

The Bad Boy Records founder was originally scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028.

While no reason was given as to why Combs’ release date was extended by approximately one month, the record producer allegedly indulged in “homemade alcohol” around the time of his November 4 birthday. (His family and representative Juda Engelmayer have denied the rumors.)

It’s been reported that Combs lives in a dorm-room style dwelling with nine other men and that he works in the chapel library.

During his trial, Combs — who pleaded not guilty to the sex-related felonies — was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, but guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.

He was sentenced to 50 months (or more than four years) in prison.
