Progresso said its viral BBQ smoke-scented deodorant is “back by smoky demand” after a limited drop earlier this month sold out almost immediately.
The Progresso Pitmaster Pit Kit, which includes a deodorant designed to smell like you’ve been manning the grill and a can of Pitmaster BBQ-Style Grilled Chicken & Fire Roasted Corn Soup, sold out within two hours of its release on Oct. 2.
Fans have got one more chance to pick up the $15 Pit Kit on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. ET at ProgressoPitKit.com — while supplies last.
The Pit Kit bridges the gap from grilling season to soup season, and builds on the summer debut of the Progresso Pitmaster soup line. Flavors including Sausage Beer Cheese with Potato and Hearty Smokehouse-Style Steak & Potatoes are available in stores nationwide.
“When we launched Progresso Pitmaster soup this summer, we showed BBQ lovers how easy it is to enjoy the bold and smoky flavors of a backyard BBQ with no grill or extra time required,” said Maria Carolina Comings, Vice President and Business Unit Director for Progresso at General mills. “While we had the flavors locked in, we realized our fans were missing the smell they got from manning the grill all day. For those who want the credit of standing over an open flame without the hassle of the grill, our new BBQ-inspired deodorant in the Pit Kit is the perfect solution.”
