President Donald Trump has sparked more health concerns after he was pictured at a recent event with a strange rash on the right side of his neck.

On Monday, March 2, the commander-in-chief, 79, presided over a Medal of Honor event at the White House, where he was photographed with the mysterious new skin ailment.

In a statement to People, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella excused the rash as a symptom of a different, “preventative” treatment.

“President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment, prescribed by the White House Doctor,” the statement reads.

“The president is using this treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks,” Barbabella added. He did not elaborate on the type of cream the president is using nor why he’s using it.

The president has previously had to answer for seemingly constant bruises on his hands and revealed to the public that he’s been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which causes swelling in his legs.

The Trump administration has blamed the bruising on his hands as a result of him shaking many people’s hands throughout the day as well as his use of aspirin to keep his blood thin.

As The National Enquirer previously reported, many close to the president have reported seeing symptoms of declining health and ability. Since he retook office in 2025, rumors have circulated that he’s wearing a urinary catheter, falling asleep in meetings and limping around Mar-a-Lago.

He and his White House constantly insist that he is in perfect health, even going as far as to say he is healthier than former President Barack Obama.
