Nick Reiner’s Siblings Fear for His Life as He Looks ‘Super Skinny’ With ‘Sunken Eyes’ Behind Bars

Nick Reiner‘s siblings are reportedly fearful they may never see the brother they once knew again, as insiders claim the jailed murder suspect has suffered a dramatic physical and mental decline behind bars.

According to a new report, Nick, 32, who is accused of murdering his parents Rob and Michele Reiner last December at their California home, has undergone a shocking transformation while in custody.

Insiders told the Daily Mail that Nick appears “super skinny” and is “rapidly deteriorating.”

“Nick no longer looks like Nick,” a source close to the Reiner family told the outlet.

“No one would recognize him. He is almost bald because they have to keep his hair super short to keep the bugs out, and he is super skinny because of the intense medication he is on. His eyes are very sunken in,” the insider claimed.

The family source added that Nick has “not been well for many years” but before his incarceration, his “personality could be recognized.”

Now, the insider claimed, that appears to have changed.

“He is like a babbling child, totally out of it,” the source continued. “It’s so bad his lawyers have a hard time talking to him.”

The source went on to say that Nick’s older brother Jake, 35, and younger sister Romy, 28, “worry that he will never be sane again.”

The siblings are also concerned about his physical health, with the insider claiming they fear “he could possibly die as his heart could weaken from the constant strain.”

Nick is currently housed at The Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, California, without bail.

According to the Daily Mail, the facilities were accused of shackling inmates to tables and allowing prisoners to sleep on “urine-soaked floors” and “sitting in their own feces.”

As The National Enquirer previously reported, Nick pleaded not guilty to charges related to the deaths of his parents.

Rob and Michele Reiner were found stabbed to death on December 14 in their Brentwood, California home.

Since his arrest, Nick has drawn attention for reports about his alleged mental health and substance abuse struggles.

A hearing in the murder case is scheduled for September 15.
