Atlanta diners will have a rare opportunity to experience a collaborative menu from two acclaimed local chefs during a one-night-only charity dinner benefiting childhood cancer.

Nan Thai Buckhead is hosting the fundraiser on Aug. 26, ahead of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Atlanta-based nonprofit CURE Childhood Cancer. Executive chef DeeDee Niyomkul will join forces with chef Joey Ward of Southern Belle + Georgia Boy, whose work has earned MICHELIN recognition, for an exclusive four-course meal paired with wines.

The event blends Niyomkuls modern Thai flavors with Wards “authentically Atlanta” style in a menu designed to highlight their shared creativity and commitment to community.

Courses will begin with a watermelon som tom, a refreshing Thai-inspired starter, followed by Thai-style scallop ceviche, “Cereal + Milk” roasted red snapper with red curry and coconut, braised beef short rib jungle curry, and a pineapple upside-down dessert with coconut tres leches and Thai basil. The dinner also includes wine pairings.

The evening features two seatings, at 6 and 8 p.m., and is priced at $250 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are available through OpenTable.

Nan Thai Buckhead, helmed by Niyomkul, is known for its refined approach to Thai cuisine, blending traditional dishes with modern techniques. The restaurant has become a mainstay in the citys upscale dining scene.

CURE Childhood Cancer, founded in 1975, funds targeted research for pediatric cancers and provides critical support for patients and their families. Each year, the organization dedicates millions of dollars toward innovative treatments and programs that address both medical and emotional needs of children battling cancer.
