Moose Checks Out Boise Fast-Food Spots Before Being Returned To The Mountains
A young moose paid a visit to a Chick-fil-A and a taco restaurant in Boise, Idaho, on Wednesday before being safely returned to the mountains where she belonged, officials said.
The Boise Police Department said the moose “wandered” into downtown Boise Wednesday evening and “checked out several of the sites. She visited Tin Roof Tacos, Chick-fil-A, and even the Morrison Knudsen Nature Center on Walnut Street.
“Unfortunately she didn’t seem to be heading back the way she came,” police said. Officers followed the moose and monitored her while waiting for Idaho Fish and Game personnel to assist.
Police said she was “being taken safely back to the mountains.”
