Amelia Gray Hamlin clapped back at critics on social media after photos of her spending time with friends on the beach sparked concerns for her health.
On Friday, August 8, the model, 24, posted a carousel of snapshots showing off her slim figure. One picture revealed her posing topless, wearing only the bottom half of a string bikini, a white hat and a pair of sunglasses. Another showed her posing alongside a pal with a drink in hand.
One Instagram user – who took issue with her lack of clothing – wrote: “Amelia. Delete these. Your body is a temple, not an amusement park.”
Amelia replied, “I know!! My temple that I love so much! And it’s mine to do whatever I want with! How amazing is that! This is what makes me feel the most powerful and free as a woman. Thank you for your input. I love my body.”
However, in another photo of her sitting in the sand, her ribs and spine were very noticeable, provoking a number of shocked replies in the comments section.
“Not to body shame, girl, but you look like you may need some help,” one user replied, and another follower agreed, “Not hating, but clearly there is a problem here.”

According to Daily Mail, the youngest daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin — who has been vocal about her previous issues with eating disorders — took to her Instagram Stories to defend herself once again as she shared videos of herself eating burgers and other foods.
“I literally live to eat. I don’t eat to live, LOL!” she wrote at the time. “Never have I ever supported anorexia and or did I mean to ever make anyone feel that way.”
“My journey and goal on this Earth is to inspire and spread love,” she continued, per the outlet. “At a young age I came out about struggling in the past – I have worked very hard to heal. And I have.”
This comes four years after Amelia got candid about her teenage battle with an eating disorder.
“I’m so lucky that I came out of the other side of it,” she said in a 2021 video shared to Instagram for International Women’s Day. “I learned so many amazing things from it that I honestly wouldn’t take back.”
“I’ve never loved myself as much as I do now, which is so important,” Amelia added. “I think it’s the most important quality any woman can have. It’s just self-love, self-respect, self-confidence and body positivity.”
