Kevin Spacey Denies He Is ‘Homeless’ Despite Reportedly Claiming He ‘Literally’ Has ‘No Home’

Kevin Spacey is walking back his recent statement that suggested he is homeless, while slamming a British outlet for a “misleading” headline.

“I don’t usually make it my business to correct the media — if I did, I wouldn’t have time for much else — but in light of the recent articles claiming I am ‘homeless,’ I feel the need to respond,” Spacey, 66, said in an Instagram video posted on Sunday, November 23.

“I feel it would be disingenuous of me to allow you to believe that I am indeed homeless in the colloquial sense,” Spacey added.

The American Beauty star blamed the “rumor” on a Wednesday, November 19 The Telegraph article titled, “Kevin Spacey interview: Homeless, cancelled and crooning in Cyprus.”

As National Enquirer previously reported, the outlet reported the actor as saying in the interview, “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is,” adding: “I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

“I said I was basically living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is — just as I did when I first started out in this business,” Spacey explained in the video. “I’ve been working nearly nonstop this entire year and for that, I have so much to be grateful for.”

In 2017, Spacey faced multiple accusations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct, as early as the 1990s, which Spacey has denied. According to the New York Post, Spacey was ultimately acquitted of nine charges.
