Jimmy Kimmel Takes the Same Cognitive Test President Trump ‘Aced’ to See How Tough It Really Is

Jimmy Kimmel is putting his money where his mouth is when it comes to his feud with President Donald Trump.

“We’ve been hearing so much about these cognitive tests he keeps acing… and I’ve offered him the opportunity to take the test live on television. He still hasn’t gotten back to me on it,” the late-night host, 58, said on the Monday, January 5 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

In both a Friday, January 2 post on his social media website, Truth Social, as well as at recent public speaking events, Trump, 79, bragged about passing a cognitive test for the third time that “no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take.”

Although Trump described the test as “not easy,” Kimmel was unimpressed: “They’re about as difficult as the maze on the back of a box of Captain Crunch.”

However, “in the interest of fairness, and also to get a sense of what he keeps babbling about, we got in touch with a doctor who gives these tests regularly, these cognitive exams, and I asked her to administer one to me,” the comedian revealed.

Before running the segment, titled “Is Jimmy a Moron?”, the comedian assured fans he did not get the questions ahead of time and was willing to show the full, unedited footage of himself taking the exam in case there is any debate that he took it fairly.

Kimmel sat down with Dr. Sarah Swanson, who tested him on his ability to draw shapes, name animals, repeat back words and numbers, and a handful of other tasks. When it was all said and done, Kimmel got 30 out of a possible 30 points, meaning he too aced the test.

“So I can be president?” he asked the doctor, who simply shrugged.
