With summer vacation planning underway, travelers are showing renewed interest in urban getaways and tropical escapes alike.

According to recent search data from Hilton.com, cities are topping the list alongside classic beach destinations, highlighting a trend toward both cultural immersion and coastal relaxation.

Los Cabos, Mexico, leads the list of trending destinations, with searches for Hilton Los Cabos on the rise. The resort offers access to one of the regions rare cove-protected beaches and hosts the Baja Food & Wine Journey, alongside unique activities such as witnessing turtle hatchings and lounging in cliffside cabanas.

San Juan, Puerto Rico, follows closely, with travelers eyeing the historic Caribe Hilton, known as the birthplace of the piña colada. Just minutes from Old San Juan, the property offers beach access, pools, and local cuisine in a family-friendly setting.

New York City is also making a strong showing this year. Conrad New York Downtown draws attention with its rooftop bar, Leonessa, which promises to transport visitors from Manhattan to the Amalfi Coast.
