Tylor Chase, who is best known for playing Martin Qwerly in the Nickelodeon series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, has allegedly fallen on hard times.
In a recent video shared on X (formerly Twitter), someone asks Chase if he “played on Disney Channel,” to which the 36-year-old replied: “Nickelodeon… Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.”
It then showed a screenshot of a GoFundMe that claimed he is “living on the streets.”
While the GoFundMe has been taken down, a TikTok user with the handle @lethallalli shared more insight into Chase’s current situation.

In September, the social media user posted a photo of the actor sitting on the street via TikTok and wrote, “Just made a Gofundme for him!”
Days later, @lethallalli shared a screengrab of a text exchange allegedly between herself and Chase’s mother, in which the actor’s mother requested that the GoFundMe be deactivated.
“Yes, Tylor needs medical attention not money,” a message allegedly sent by Chase’s mother reads. “But he refuses it. I appreciate your effort. But money would not be a benefit to him. I have gotten him several phones, but he loses them within a day or two. He can’t manage money or his meds by himself.”
In response, the social media user said, “Understood I will stop the donations. But there is money that I’d like to at least give you because I don’t know what else to do with it. The money is not for me and it’s not my blessing to receive.”

The person believed to be Chase’s mother allegedly doubled down, responding, “If you’d like to meet me at the plaza, one day, that would be fine. I could put it in an account for him. But like I said, he’s not good at managing money and it could possibly hurt him. I appreciate you trying to help him, he is a good sweet kid. But he does need medical help.”
In a September 24 podcast episode of Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide, Chase’s former costars discussed the situation and thought about ways they could possibly help.

“There was some bad news that I received earlier this week about our dear friend Tylor Chase. It was a lot to process for me,” said actor Daniel Curtis Lee. “When I first saw it, I was angry because I was like, why put a camera in someone’s face when they are on hard times?”
“But then, after I was angry at the people who were filming it, I was upset with myself, in that I feel powerless because I feel like there’s not much I can do,” Lee, 34, continued.
“I fully believe he can recover,” Lee said, “but it’s also wishful thinking in me. And I’ve got to go and see him.”
