A drone show recreated an iconic film scene from King Kong on the Empire State Building on Mar 31, 2025. Green drones shaped the iconic King Kong character and moved to show the simulated giant ape scaling the Empire State Building and hanging from the peak. The show was a collaborative effort between Studio Hock and the Empire State Building, according to Studio Hock founder Keenan Hock in an Instagram post.
