A car theft turned into a dognapping in Oklahoma, but the “sweet pup” was reunited with its owner along with their Audi, authorities said.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said the Moore Police Department initially received the report of a vehicle stolen from the parking lot of a Best Buy with the owner’s Dalmatian still inside.
OHP troopers worked with Audi to locate the vehicle, which was found abandoned in the parking lot of a closed business at Northeast 10th Street and North Christine Drive in Midwest City, about 13 miles away from where it was stolen.
They arrived to find the Dalmatian still safe inside the vehicle. Photos shared by OHP show the “sweet pup” curled up inside.
OHP said both the vehicle and the dog were reunited with their rightful owner.
