Chinese American Siblings Busted for an Alleged Plot to Bomb Florida Military Base
Chinese American siblings charged in Florida bomb plot targeting MacDill Air Force Base raise national security fears, espionage concerns, and immigration debate.
Two Chinese American siblings were busted for an alleged plot to bomb a Florida military base, leading authorities to suspect the pair may be part of Communist China’s secret army of sleeper cell agents operating in the United States, sources say.
Alen and Ann Mary Zheng — new poster children in America’s war against birthright citizenship as they were born in the U.S. to illegal immigrant parents — were indicted for their alleged roles in the attempted March 10 attack at the MacDill Air Force Base visitors center in Tampa, according to a Department of Homeland news release.
Alen, 20, is accused of placing an improvised explosive device before fleeing to China, while Ann Mary, 27, was nabbed on March 18 in Detroit, after returning home from the rogue nation, and booked on charges of helping her brother escape.
“Ann Mary Zheng, knowing that her brother, Alen Zheng, had attempted to damage government property by fire or explosion, assisted him in order to hinder and prevent his apprehension, trial and punishment,” the Department of Justice states.

As the National Enquirer previously reported, intelligence experts have warned that for decades Chinese leaders have taken advantage of U.S. birthright citizenship to create an estimated 30,000-strong army of American children through devious “rent a womb” schemes.
Sources say the children are sent to China for training before returning to the U.S. to carry out espionage operations — a dire national security issue that President Donald Trump tried to stamp out via executive order before being thwarted by lawsuits. A decision in the uphill battle against birthright citizenship is pending in the Supreme Court.
“Once they have U.S. citizenship they can freely go back and forth from China,” says retired Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely. “The children grow older, and they can be used for whatever means their leaders see fit.”
Jia Zhang Zheng
The duo’s parents, Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng, who have been living in America since 1998, were nabbed for illegal entry and are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Ann Mary is charged with being an accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence. If convicted, she faces up to 30 years in prison. She’s being held as prosecutors claim she’s a flight risk, court docs show.
Acting Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at DHS Lauren Bis said, per the release, “This incident underscores the severe national security threat that illegal immigration and birthright citizenship pose to the United States.”
