Cheryl Hines Was ‘Caught Up in the Kennedy Mystique’ Before Marrying RFK Jr. Despite Checkered Past
RFK Jr. and Cheryl Hines marriage troubles deepen as new infidelity revelations surface, exposing a history of cheating that insiders say both spouses helped create.
Damning new revelations about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s sordid history have once again humiliated wife Cheryl Hines and put their marriage on the rocks! Now insiders say they’re both to blame.
“She knew what she was getting into when she became ‘the other woman’ in his last marriage, and he has grown comfortable chewing up and spitting out wives,” a Kennedy source exclusively spills to the National Enquirer.
On the surface, the marriage seemed a convenient bridge between Camelot and Hollywood — but the wayward RFK Jr. soon lived up to his reputation as a philanderer and Cheryl was left to deal with the indignity of mounting public evidence of the embarrassing extent of her husband’s long history of cheating.
“Cheryl was caught up in the Kennedy mystique and the chance to follow in the footsteps of such revered Kennedy women as former first lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy and her mother-in-law, Ethel, who was the family’s long-reigning matriarch,” a source spills.
“But she should have known that Bobby would eventually bring her the same pain and humiliation he gave to his previous wives.”
Hines was reportedly devastated when news of the nation’s Health and Human Services secretary’s bizarre sexting relationship with 33-year-old magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi went public in September 2024.
“The swirl of headlines, rumors, and insinuations was upsetting and overwhelming,” Hines writes in her memoir, Unscripted, published in November, per a report from Daily Mail. “I hated all of it.”
Sources say she was once again crushed by the damning details of infidelity in Isabel Vincent’s book RFK Jr.: The Fall and Rise, released last month. The book is largely based on three volumes of Kennedy’s diaries, which disturbingly detail the long list of ladies he shared sexual dalliances with. Many occurred during his second marriage, to tragic Mary Richardson Kennedy — who had read the diaries and hanged herself in the family barn in 2012, two years after he filed for divorce.
By that time, Bobby had already moved in with Hines, who married him in 2014 despite friends warning her of his alleged cheating just months before the wedding, per Daily Mail.
Bobby’s political move to the right landed him a job in the Trump cabinet but alienated him from his powerful Democratic family and virtually destroyed Cheryl’s career in ultra-liberal Hollywood.
“There is no way for them to survive all this,” a source says. “But it’s a disaster of their own creation.”
