Cheryl Hines Says There’s No ‘Point’ Going Through ‘Every Rumor’ After Husband RFK Jr.’s Affair Scandal

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s sexting scandal is a thing of the past – at least according to his wife, Cheryl Hines.

The Bad Moms actress, 59, spoke out on the topic publicly for the first time since rumors swirled that her husband had engaged in an affair with journalist Olivia Nuzzi in 2024 after she covered his presidential campaign.

“I don’t think there’s any point to going through every rumor and headline to try to defend or explain it,” she hinted at the scandal in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published on Monday, August 11.

“Bobby and I talk about everything,” she added. “So that’s how we move through everything, and we’re really good friends, and we trust each other.”

Despite reports that Hines and Kennedy, 71, were living separately, the actress also verified that she had moved with her husband into their lavish $4 million home in Washington, D.C.

While the Curb Your Enthusiasm star appeared to shoot down the rumors that their marriage was on the rocks, she’s expected to talk more deeply about their relationship in her upcoming memoir, Cheryl Hines Unscripted, which is set to hit shelves on November 11.

“One would deduce [from the book] that we love each other and are still married and whatever we’ve been through is behind us,” she explained to the outlet.
