Canadian Police Find BBQ Theft ‘Suspect’ Fox With Mouth Full Of Hot Dogs

Canadian authorities say cookout season kicked off earlier this month with a brazen barbecue theft in Alberta.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said that at around dinnertime on May 11, officers in Crowsnest Pass responded to a report of a theft “involving BBQ goods.”
Officers searched for a suspect described as “having red hair, being short in stature, and wearing a thick coat.”
The suspect, a wild fox, was soon located nearby “attempting to conceal the evidence.” A photo shared by RCMP Alberta shows the fox caught red-clawed with a mouth full of hot dogs.
Police said the wily suspect was “released without conditions — and a full belly!”
