Tom Cruise Wants ‘Wingman’ David Beckham to Find Him ‘Ms. Right’ in Her ‘Late 20s or Early 30s’
Tom Cruise is piling the pressure on pals David and Victoria Beckham to find him an English girlfriend, an insider tells the National Enquirer.
The Mission: Impossible star, 63, has been close friends with the couple for years and even joined David, 51, and Victoria, 52, and their youngest children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, at the retired soccer star’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling on Friday, June 12.
“Tom’s spending more time in America these days, but he’s still a rabid Anglophile,” says the insider. “He loves every part of the culture and [would] do anything to top that off by finding himself a leading English lady.”
As the Enquirer previously reported, a source says Cruise is ready to find someone new after his relationship with Ana de Armas ended last year.
The action star has “enjoyed some brief courtships, but nothing really stuck and now he’s relying on David to put the word out,” shares the insider. “Victoria is helping out too.”
Cruise has some requirements, Enquirer‘s insider reveals.
“The ideal candidate must come from good stock [and] be in her late 20s or early 30s,” says the insider, adding that “ties to the royals” are important “as he’s determined to keep building on his friendship” with Prince William and Princess Kate.
The Top Gun: Maverick star is “thrilled to have his old wingman back in his life and may even invest in some of David’s sports initiatives too,” dishes the insider. “But top priority is finding Ms. Right, preferably a bona fide English rose.”
