Texas Man, 26, Arrested After Allegedly Threatening to Kill Erika Kirk

A Texas man was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill Charlie Kirk‘s widow, Erika Kirk.

Jacob Wenske, 26, was arrested on Wednesday, May 27, and faces two counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear of serious bodily injury (a third-degree felony), according to the Bexar County Central Magistrate website.

ABC affiliate KSAT reported that the San Antonio man was accused of threatening to kill the Turning Point USA CEO, 37, ahead of her appearance next week at the organization’s Women’s Leadership Summit (held June 5-7 in San Antonio).

Wenske allegedly replied to a social media post about the summit by writing, “I know exactly where to bomb,” San Antonio police investigators said, per KSAT.

The San Antonio Express-News reported that an arrest affidavit stated Wenske’s Facebook account allegedly showed “ongoing violent hostility toward Turning Point-affiliated persons and supporters, including death-approval statements, encouragement of harm toward ideological opponents, and repeated hostile engagement across multiple public threads.”

According to the San Antonio newspaper, authorities learned an email account registered to Wenske allegedly sent a threat to Turning Point USA in January.

“Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!!” the email reportedly read. “America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.”

Following Wenske’s arrest, a TPUSA spokesperson told Fox News Digital that they take any and all threats seriously.

“The safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is always our top priority. All TPUSA events include enhanced, multi-layered security measures enforced by both private security and local police,” the statement said.

“We refuse to let threats silence us. We look forward to a successful and inspiring gathering June 5–7 in San Antonio for 2,500+ ladies attending the Women’s Leadership Summit!” the statement added.

The mother of two — who recently withdrew from another TPUSA event after allegedly receiving “threats” — assumed the role of the organization’s CEO after her husband was assassinated in broad daylight on September 10, 2025, at age 31.

In a lengthy video message shared on social media last month, Erika said she attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to stand up to the harassment she’s endured since her husband’s murder.

“Many of the journalists in that room have attempted to dehumanize me,” Erika said. “And I wanted to meet some of them face to face, quite frankly.”
