Candace Owens Questions Erika Kirk’s Upbringing, Including Her Real Birthdate and Who Raised Her

Candace Owens does not believe Erika Kirk has been honest about her situation growing up.

On Wednesday, February 25, the podcast host, 36, released the first episode of her documentary series Bride Of Charlie, and went through what she calls “wrinkles” in the 37-year-old Turning Point USA CEO’s upbringing, seemingly referring to inconsistencies.

First, the political commentator questioned the notion that the former pageant queen — whose parents are Kent and Lori Frantzve — was raised by a “devout catholic” single mother, claiming that Lori was married four times and that her dad “was always in her life.”

“Erika was not raised by a single mother, like, at all,” Owens stated. “For entire years of her childhood, Kent was actually a stay-at-home dad. So, almost the exact opposite thing was true at one point.”

A clip then played of Erika on her late husband Charlie Kirk‘s show, saying, “My dad was a stay-at-home dad for a few years, and I got to say, it was really sweet and really special. I was 4.”

“Erica was 10 years old when her parents divorced in 1998. So her father was very much a part of her early childhood, and he did not stop being involved in her teenage years either,” Owens alleged. “I have spoken to classmates, past boyfriends, and people are generally bewildered as to why Erika is now publicly representing as though she does not have a relationship with Kent.”

Owens noted that besides Kent, “Erika was raised with her stepfather in her home, a man named Larry Ginta,” and showed viewers Erika’s page in her high school yearbook, which featured a collage of photos with her loved ones, including her dad, Kent, and his parents, as well as her stepdad, Larry.

“He [Larry] has been a fixture in her life since before her parents’ divorce was ever finalized because both he and his son are also in the collage,” Owens said. “I confirmed with classmates Larry and Lori were together since Erika’s elementary school days.”

“In other words, Erika grew up in a situation that is now termed as a bonus dad,” Owens continued. “Both her biological father and her stepfather figure were present and all living in and around the Scottsdale area. So why this little public misrepresentation?”

Additionally, Owens questioned Erika’s birthdate, pointing out “we are told” that Erika was born on November 20, 1988, in Cincinnati, Ohio, but for some reason, on her parents’ 1998 divorce filings, Erika’s birthdate was listed as November 22.

As the National Enquirer previously reported, Owens has been a vocal critic of Erika following Charlie’s death in September. The two women met for a sit-down discussion in December, which they both called “productive,” but Owens has continued to come for Erika since.
