Hugh Jackman takes his health extremely seriously after several scares with skin cancer, as does his protective partner, Sutton Foster.
The Broadway star, 50, is working hard to ensure the 57-year-old actor stays on top of things, a source tells the National Enquirer.
“Sutton is all about prevention and getting Hugh to the doctor even when nothing is wrong,” says the source. “She’s driven by preparation, going back years in musical theater, and doesn’t leave anything to chance, including Hugh’s well-being.”

Jackman has had about six basal cell carcinomas removed over the years, he estimated during a 2015 appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
“No one has ever died in the history of the planet, but it’s a cancer and it grows,” the Deadpool and Wolverine star explained. “And if you don’t take it out, it’ll get into your bones and then you’ve got to take the bone out.”
Most recently, Jackman underwent two biopsies to check for possible skin cancer in 2023. Fortunately, both tests came back negative, he later revealed.
“Please wear sunscreen. It is just not worth it,” the Aussie urged his Instagram followers that April. “No matter how much you want to tan. Trust me, trust me, trust me … This is all stuff that happened 25 years ago. It’s coming out now.”

It’s not just the skin cancer that concerns Foster, either.
The Younger alum is mapping out a whole new lifestyle regimen for Jackman, Enquirer’s source reveals. “She’s overhauling everything,” including the former Music Man star’s schedule when he’s not working.
“Hugh still lives by Broadway hours, where you stay up until dawn and you sleep until launch,” notes the source. “But is that the healthiest way to live when you’re in your third decade of being a major Hollywood star?”
Sure, “she is a worrywart when it comes to his health,” the source admits. “But he’s not thirty anymore.”
