Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is already planning for life after prison.
On Friday, October 3, the disgraced rapper, 55, appeared in a Manhattan courtroom for his sentencing hearing as he was convicted of two counts of transportation for prostitution in July. During the hearing, prosecutor Mary Slavik shared some shocking information about Combs’ schedule with the court, according to the Daily Mail.
“[Combs] booked speaking arrangements in Miami for next week,” Slavik revealed, per the outlet.
“That is the height of hubris,” she remarked, noting it meant he was “assuming the court is going to ignore the law and let him be in Miami on Monday.”
“That’s the opposite of demonstrating respect for the law … his respect for the law is just lip service,” she added.

As for Combs’ team, they submitted an 11-minute documentary-style video to the judge on Friday, highlighting his kids’ love for him, his philanthropic work and his care for his mother, Janice Combs.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” singer also penned a letter to the judge, which was filed on Thursday, October 2, according to TMZ.
“I want to apologize and say how sincerely sorry I am for all of the hurt and pain that I have caused others by my conduct,” he wrote in part. “I take full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs. This has been the hardest 2 years of my life, and I have no one to blame for my current reality and situation but myself.”
As the Enquirer reported earlier this week, the music mogul’s lawyers argue that Combs’ time already served at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn should be sufficient.
However, the prosecution has a different outlook as they have requested that he be sentenced to 11 years in prison.
