The retired NFL legend made his catwalk debut at the Gucci Cruise 2027 fashion show in Times Square on Saturday, May 16, strutting in a head-to-toe black leather ensemble. The look quickly became a talking point, and on the Tuesday, May 19 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the journalist and her husband had plenty to say about the quarterback-turned-model’s bold new direction.
“What’s happening with his looks? We’re not sure,” said Kelly, 55. She acknowledged that she and Brunt have met Brady, 48, on multiple occasions and don’t think “he’s a bad guy” — but both were visibly puzzled by the fashion pivot.

Brunt, 54, recalled meeting Brady at a Met Gala years ago when the athlete was co-hosting alongside Anna Wintour. “He was so gracious and charming, he’s got the it factor, but this is 10 years ago, and he was handsome, like he should have held right there,” the Lost Empire of Emanuel Nobel author said on the episode.

“I hate to say it, because I’m a fan, but I’m getting Caitlyn Jenner vibes,” Brunt continued. “I don’t know why no one’s saying it, though. Am I the only one seeing that, or is everyone seeing it and everyone’s not saying it?”
Kelly took the commentary further, revealing she consulted a dermatologist about the apparent changes in Brady‘s appearance. “He too said, ‘I see feminization surgery going on,'” she said on the episode, quickly noting that the doctor “hasn’t examined Tom Brady for the record” and that it was strictly “his armchair opinion.”
The host of The Megyn Kelly Show added that there’s an open question about whether Brady’s transformation is simply the result of weight loss and a different workout routine or whether cosmetic procedures are involved.
“I don’t think Tom Brady is a stranger to the plastic surgeon’s office. That’s just my own armchair belief,” Kelly said. “I don’t think that evolution we’re watching there happens naturally.”
