Nick Reiner — who has been accused of murdering his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner — has been behind bars since December 2025.

While Nick’s siblings, Romy and Jake Reiner, have reportedly cut off support financially, the accused murderer has had one visitor during his time in lockup.

Nick’s attorney, public defender Kimberly Greene, is the only visitor he has received in more than two months, according to Daily Mail.

Greene replaced Nick’s previous attorney, Alan Jackson, after he quit before his January court hearing.

Jackson reiterated his belief in his former client’s innocence in January. “What we’ve learned and you can take this to the bank, is that pursuant to the laws of this state, Nick Reiner is not guilty of murder,” he said at the time. “Print that. We wish him the very very best moving forward.”

Nick, 32, pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder charges on February 23.

Last month, Rob Shuter reported on his Naughty But Nice Substack that Jake, 34, and Romy, 28, “will not attend” Nick’s trial, which is set to begin in April.

“Sitting in that room would be too painful,” a source told Shuter on February 26. “This has devastated the entire family. They’re grieving in their own way. Protecting their mental health has to come first.”

Rob and Michele were found dead inside their Brentwood, California, home on December 14, 2025. It was later reported that they were brutally stabbed to death. Nick was arrested and charged with their murders later that night.
