Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter was found dead at a California hotel on New Year’s Day.

The body of Victoria Jones, 34, was found at the Fairmont in San Francisco. A spokesperson for the fire department confirmed to Page Six that paramedics received a call at 2:52 a.m. for a medical emergency.

“Bystanders were given instructions for CPR according to CAD records,” the spokesperson said.

TMZ, citing Broadcastify dispatch audio, reports that the call came in as a “code 3 for the overdose, color change.”

Victoria was found on the 14th floor by a hotel guest who believed the former actress had passed out on the ground from drinking and alerted hotel staff, a source claimed to the Daily Mail. The source claimed there were no signs of foul play and no drug paraphernalia found at the scene.

Hotel staff performed CPR and called for an ambulance, but paramedics confirmed the 34-year-old was unresponsive and pronounced dead on the scene. A cause of death had not been determined as of Friday morning.

The San Francisco Police Department is now handling the death investigation and a medical examiner is expected to determine her cause of death.

Victoria was the daughter of Tommy, 79, and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. The actor and director is known for starring in films including No Country for Old Men, Men In Black and The Fugitive.

Victoria followed in her father’s footsteps at a young age, appearing in Men In Black II. She also appeared in an episode of One Tree Hill in 2003, and had a role in the 2005 film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by Tommy.

Victoria is survived by one brother, Austin Jones, born to both Tommy and Cloughley. The former couple were married for 15 years, from 1981 to 1996.

Victoria had reportedly stepped back from the spotlight in recent years. New reports claim she had been arrested at least three times in the last year. In April, Jones’ daughter was arrested in Napa County, California, for obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of a narcotic controlled substance, The New York Post reported, citing court documents.

Victoria was also arrested in Santa Cruz County and again in Napa County in June 2025 on domestic battery and domestic violence/elder abuse charges. She pleaded not guilty in both Napa County cases, court records showed, according to the report.
