MickeyRourke is asking fans for money so he can avoid being evicted from his L.A. rental house.
A member of Rourke’s management team, Liya-Joelle Jones, launched a GoFundMe titled “Help Mickey Rourke Stay in His Home” on Sunday, January 4, in hopes of helping the troubled star, 73, raise $100,000.

As the National Enquirer previously reported, the Wrestler actor allegedly owes nearly $60,000 to his landlord in unpaid rent and is facing eviction.
“Mickey Rourke entered American cinema like a force of nature—raw, fearless, and utterly original. In the late 1970s and 1980s, he wasn’t just a movie star; he was a symbol of something rare: danger paired with vulnerability, toughness paired with heart,” Jones explained on the GoFundMe page. “From Diner to Rumble Fish to 9½ Weeks, Mickey gave audiences performances that felt lived-in, not performed, and left a permanent mark on American film culture. Mickey’s life never followed a safe or protected path.”
The Oscar nominee later tried his hand at a boxing career, “choosing risk over comfort,” the appeal continued. “Boxing—real and punishing—left lasting physical and emotional scars, and the industry that once celebrated him moved on quickly. What followed were years of struggle not defined by spectacle, but by survival: health challenges, financial strain, and the quiet toll of being left behind.”
“Fame does not protect against hardship, and talent does not guarantee stability. What remains is a person who deserves dignity, housing, and the chance to regain his footing,” Jones added.
As of publication, the GoFundMe has raised nearly $70,000.
