Marjorie Taylor Greene claims she was not a yes woman to President Donald Trump, which is partly why she believes their relationship unraveled.
On Tuesday, April 21, the politician, 51, appeared on The Shannon Joy Show and theorized on why the 79-year-old commander-in-chief has “two-time congressional candidate loser” Laura Loomer in his circle.
“People have to understand he loves cult-like worship,” Greene said of Trump, 79. “And she has made Donald Trump her god. Literally. He’s the one and only.”
The former Georgia congresswoman explained that she had “three strikes” with the billionaire, which led to her being on the outs with him.

The first strike, according to Greene, was “in June 2025 when Trump bombed Iran” because she “spoke out vocally on that.”
Greene noted the second strike was when she wouldn’t vote yes for the cryptocurrency bill, the GENIUS Act.
Lastly, the third strike came when Greene publicly called for the Jeffrey Epsteinfiles to be released. Greene claimed on the podcast that Trump “was telling everyone not to release the files” and told her on the phone, his “friends will get hurt,” if the files come out.

Also on the podcast, Greene shared why Trump labeled her a “traitor.”
“He didn’t mean a traitor to the country. He meant a traitor to him,” she proclaimed. “See, that’s why he attacked me the worst because I had fought for him and helped him when no one else was fighting and helping him, but then the problem was he thought I was like Laura Loomer, that’s the difference.”
“He expected me to be like her in a cult-like worship way and just rubber-stamp everything he wanted to do in his presidency, even though it was a complete betrayal of our campaign promises, and I wouldn’t do it, and then I became a traitor,” Greene added.
