Jack Nicholson Sets the Record Straight: Feeling Better and Eager for a Comeback!

Jack Nicholson has slimmed down and perked up — and now the Hollywood legend is aiming for an ambitious acting comeback at 87!

That’s the word from sources who squeal the As Good as It Gets Oscar winner is eager to prove he’s still got it.

The dad of six was seen for the first time in almost two years in a sweet social media pic posted by his daughter Lorraine Nicholson, 34. The image showed the Soul Surfer beauty with her arms wrapped around was her smiling dad — but fans were quick to notice that Jack appeared to be much smaller!

“This was a big deal for Jack and his way of telling the world he’s not this ailing recluse that folks think he is,” shares an insider.

Nicholson’s last public outing was May 20, 2023, at an L.A. Lakers game — which came one month after The Shining screen psycho was caught looking disheveled on a California balcony!

“There’s still plenty of fire in his belly, and he’s been galvanized by a strong support system led by his kids and other loved ones, who’ve helped him lose weight and get into healthier habits,” confides the insider.

The former skirt-chaser shares Lorraine and her 32-year-old brother, Panic star Ray Nicholson, with ex Rebecca Broussard. He’s also dad to Jennifer Nicholson, 61, Caleb Goddard 54, Honey Hollman, 44, and Tessa Gourin, 31, from past relationships with four other women.

The mole admits, “Jack’s been locked away behind closed doors for years, but he wants to change that and get back there doing what he loves best.”

Sources snitch the former Tinseltown top dog is putting the word out that he’s ready to get back to work — and is willing to accept supporting roles or even cameos!

“Only time will tell if he’s physically up to the challenge but everyone’s so please to see him confident and a lot more back to his old self,” blabs the insider. “He’s feeling good about himself and more energetic after losing a few pounds, and he’s even getting up early to read the trades and catch up on what everyone in Hollywood is doing.

“Word is, he’s showering and shaving every day, and sometimes he’s putting on cologne!”

Adds the spy, “Jack has heard the rumors about himself — that he’s in poor health or even dying — and finds them laughable. He hasn’t lost his sense of humor!”
