The Phillips sisters — Mackenzie Phillips, Chynna Phillips and Bijou Phillips — proved they are stronger together, delighting fans with a mini-reunion at the 2026 Chiller Theatre Halloween Expo on Friday, October 30, in Parsippany, New Jersey.
The daughters of the late John Phillips, frontman for The Mamas & the Papas, appeared alongside other famous siblings at the Dolce Hotel, with one playful photo showing the trio flanked by Chynna’s husband Billy Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin. The Wilson Phillips singer, 58, and Billy, 63, have been married for more than 30 years.
Mackenzie, 66, was at the center of the Phillips’ family rupture with the shocking claim in her September 2009 memoir, High on Arrival, that she had allegedly been involved in a decade-long physically intimate relationship with their father, per ABC News at the time. John passed away at the age of 65 in March 2001.

The allegation caused a rift within the half-sisters’ extended family, with Chynna and Bijou’s mothers — John’s ex-wife and bandmate Michelle Phillips, and Geneviève Waïte, respectively — both expressing strong doubts, according to CNN at the time. Chynna and Bijou ultimately revealed they had known about the One Day at a Time alum’s claims for many years, per the outlet.
Bijou, 46, found her own relationship embroiled in public controversy following That ’70s Show alum Danny Masterson‘s 2023 conviction for rape. After 12 years of marriage, per NBC News at the time, Bijou filed for divorce on September 19, 2023, 12 days after Masterson, 50, was sentenced.
In July 2026, Bijou celebrated her second kidney transplant, after her body rejected the first due to the BK virus. According to a February 2026 Instagram post, the former model was born with underdeveloped kidneys, forcing her onto dialysis for three months in the NICU. She received her first kidney from a friend in 2017.

While Chynna and Billy are still married, People recently reported on Monday, October 26, that they currently “live in separate houses.”
The couple confirmed their living arrangements in a joint Instagram post promoting their YouTube channel. “Married 30+ years… and we live in separate houses. Here’s why. New series, Holding On, drops Nov 17 — watch us find our way back,” they captioned clips from the online series.
