Gwyneth Paltrow ‘Warned’ Pals Not to Talk to Tell-All Author, ‘Ready to Cut’ Ties With Those Who Did

Gwyneth Paltrow is so furious over a new tell-all biography that claims she described ex-love Brad Pitt as “emotionally abusive,” insiders tell the National Enquirer the actress is cutting off anyone she suspects blabbed to the author and is considering legal action to boot.

Amy Odell’s unauthorized Gwyneth: The Biography rips the lid off the 52-year-old beauty’s life including her personal relationships with famous A-list stars including former financé Pitt, her sweetheart from 1994 to 1997.

While the Shakespeare in Love beauty “has been bad-mouthing Brad for decades behind the scenes, now she’s humiliated that somebody finally wrote about it,” says an insider.

“She’s claiming the whole thing is phony, but people around her say she’s only trying to save face.”

The most shocking revelation in the 448-page exposé is the suggestion that Brad, now 61, was “verbally and emotionally abusive.”

The New York Times bestselling author reveals Gwyneth “cried over Pitt multiple times” and her friend, makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin, advised her, “You really need to end this.”

Angelina Jolie, who divorced Pitt after an alleged fight aboard a private jet in 2016, has also claimed the Troy star was physically and emotionally abusive.

“Angie might be feeling vindicated right now,” adds the insider.

The book also says Gwyneth allegedly told a friend Pitt was “dumb as s**t,” jealous and lacking refinement.

Still, in 2022, he did a video for her brand Goop in which they recalled their romance and proclaimed their love some 20 years after their breakup.

“I love you so much,” Gwyneth cooed, and Pitt echoed: “And I do love you.”

Now the book’s revelations make Gwyneth look like “a cold-hearted hypocrite and she’s madder than a hornet,” says the insider.

“When she got wind that Odell was writing a book about her, she warned all her friends not to say anything or else.”

Odell claims she interviewed 200 people, and the source says: “Gwyneth is ready to cut loose anyone who betrayed her.”

According to Odell, Gwyneth may also file legal action if she can build a strong case.

“In the meantime, all Gwyneth can do is stew,” adds the insider.
