Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin ‘Forever Bound’ By Scandal But Will Never Be Friends (Exclusive)

Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin will be “forever bound” by their mutual involvement in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal, but that doesn’t mean they’re close, a source tells the National Enquirer.

The Full House alum, 61, and the Doc star, 62, “were never friends, but because of the circumstances, they and their teams got to know each other better,” explains the source. “But the cultures did not click.”

Despite both being longtime working actresses, the Oscar nominee “still sees herself as several notches above Lori, as brutal as that sounds,” adds the source.

Getting back to work has been “incredibly awkward” for both women, who served prison time after pleading guilty to fraud, claims the source, but the Desperate Housewives alum “is more firmly” ensconced in show business circles.

Huffman and her two-time Emmy Award-winning husband, William H. Macy, are “still a Hollywood power couple after all the drama,” notes the source.

“That’s why Felicity is back on network TV and making a great salary,” continues the source, who estimates that Huffman now makes $250,000 an episode after joining the Fox drama series in season 2.  “She knows how to work the system and Lori never has.”
