Donald Trump Jr. and fiancée Bettina Anderson are gearing up to tie the knot in the next few months — but despite widespread speculation, don’t expect to see them walking down the aisle at the White House.

A story published by Page Six on Monday, April 20, notes that sources told the outlet that it’s “extremely unlikely” the couple will exchange vows at the iconic D.C. landmark, squashing months of buzzy reports that the eldest son of President Donald Trump was eyeing 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as his dream wedding venue.

The stunning reversal comes just days after Anderson, 39, was feted at a lavish “Enchanted Garden”-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago that drew 85 guests — including sisters-in-law Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, and Tiffany Trump, as well as the president’s ex-wife Marla Maples. Don Jr.’s daughter Kai, from his previous marriage to Vanessa Trump, also made an appearance.

Notably absent from the Palm Beach festivities was Second Lady Usha Vance, wife of Vice President JD Vance, who Page Six reports sent her regrets.

Per the report, insiders say the wedding was the focus of the glittering luncheon, held in the resort’s main ballroom and hosted by Palm Beach power players Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan, and Audrey Gruss.

A guest told Page Six that during a toast, Don Jr. lavished his bride-to-be with a bouquet of roses and declared, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina. She is smart, loving, and caring.” Anderson was reportedly moved to tears.

The guest list read like a who’s who of high society, with Daphne Oz, Fox News anchor Brett Baier‘s wife Amy, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky‘s wife Janet, and financier John Paulson‘s fiancée Alina de Almeida all in attendance. Page Six’s source notes guests departed with monogrammed gift bags stuffed with skincare, a cashmere sweater, and an umbrella.

The couple got engaged at Camp David on December 15, 2025 after roughly a year of dating — a romance that began just as Don Jr.’s engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle was unraveling. While invitations haven’t been sent, sources confirm preparations are well underway for what promises to be the social event of the year — just not at the address many had predicted.
