According to a report from TMZ published on Friday, May 22, a Palm Beach County deputy clerk signed off on their marriage license. The document showed that Don, 48, and Anderson, 39, officially tied the knot on May 17.
Brad McPherson, a real estate attorney who has worked closely with the Trump family over the years, officiated the ceremony. Don and Anderson were required to complete the process before they went on to have their actual ceremony in the Bahamas over the weekend.
“While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” the Apprentice alum, 79, wrote in a message shared on Truth Social. “I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!”
